AC Milan striker Alvaro Morata believes his team could have won if they had had five more minutes to play after drawing 2-2 with Torino in their Serie A opener on Saturday.
AC Milan fell two goals behind through an own goal by Malik Thio before Duvan Zapata added another for the visitors until the 89th minute when Morata sparked hopes by scoring a goal before substitute Noah Okafor equalised in the 90+5th minute.
Morata was disappointed his debut did not end in victory, but said that if the team had five minutes left they would have scored the winning goal.
“It’s not a great debut because we didn’t win and we wanted to communicate something,” Morata told Ufabet Sport Italia.
“I think it still sends a message because the team was almost defeated, but we came back. If we had five more minutes to play, we would have won.”
“However, we have to go back to Milanello and สมัคร ufabet change our mindset because we need to win here.”
“We need a change of mentality. Every Serie A match will be tough, every Champions League match will be tough, the Italian Cup will be tough.
“We are Milan and we have to pedal. It’s great to play at San Siro with this shirt, I hoped I could win. I can’t promise goals or titles, but I will give everything for the shirt.”
