Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi was left frustrated after his side conceded two goals in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Genoa in Serie A.
The game at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris saw the home team take an early lead in the 20th minute through Alessandro Voicco, but the ‘Big Snake’ scored twice to overtake them through Marcus Thuram in the 30th and 82nd minutes as the team looked to secure victory, but were denied a penalty in stoppage time. Junior Messias’ first shot was save by Yann Sommer, but he manage to follow up and score.
The Italian boss believes both goals concede should not have happen, from the first, which Yann Sommer miss, and the penalty, which was award due to Yann Bisek’s handball.
“It’s disappointing, in my opinion. The players played seriously UFABET, focused on the game. We had a good first half, we created a lot of chances but unfortunately conceded the goal. It was an accident. Then we recovered well,” Inzaghi told.
“In the second half we mov the ball a bit slower, then in the 84th minute we score the goal that gave us the lead, but I’m still not satisfy. After the goal, we should have played better with the ball.”
“Conceding two goals made it difficult to win the game, credit to Genoa but it was a draw we are not happy with considering what we created.”
“With a team like ours, taking the lead in the 84th minute, we shouldn’t have conceded another goal, especially with a goal like that.”
